Medieval covers the High and Late Middle Ages in Europe, from about 1000 to 1500, with castles, towns and parish churches. Common finds are pottery, buckles, pilgrim badges, seal matrices, spurs and silver pennies and groats. Metal detecting in Britain produces most of the market.
