700–330 BCE

The Late Period, Dynasties 25 to 30, saw Kushite, Saite and Persian rule and a revival of archaic styles. Bronze votive figures of gods, faience ushabtis of fine blue-green glaze and animal mummies are extremely common finds from this era. It ends with Alexander's conquest.
