Early Postclassic
900–1200 CE
The Early Postclassic is the Toltec era of Tula and the Maya-Toltec florescence of Chichén Itzá, with Plumbate ware and metalwork appearing in Mesoamerica. Militaristic iconography and long-distance trade characterise the period. It ends with the fall of Tula.
