Garza
1450–1700 CE, Toyah
Garza is the Protohistoric arrow point of the Llano Estacado and rolling plains of west Texas and eastern New Mexico, named for Garza County, Texas, and dated to about 1450–1700 CE. It is associated with bison hunters of the Garza complex who were in contact with early Spanish expeditions and is found with Lott and with occasional glass and metal. It is a marker of the last prehistoric occupation of the region.

Diagnostic traits
Small, thin, unnotched triangular arrow point with straight edges and a single central basal notch.
Identification
Garza has a basal notch but no side notches, unlike Harrell; Lott has the basal notch plus a pair of side notches and is slightly larger. Fresno is an unnotched triangle with no basal notch.

Rarely faked owing to size and simplicity.
