Trident trilobite

Walliserops is the Devonian acastid with a three-pronged fork projecting from its head, found at Foum Zguid, Issoumour and Timrhanrhart in Morocco; W. trifurcatus has a long trident and W. hammii a short one. It is one of the most expensive and most faked Moroccan trilobites. Every genuine trident should be examined for resin joins, and the price should reflect disclosed restoration.
