Trilobite
Greenops
Devonian trilobite
Greenops is a small Middle Devonian acastid with a fringe of pleural spines on the pygidium, found with Eldredgeops in the Silica Formation, the Hamilton Group of New York and Pennsylvania. Complete Greenops are far scarcer than Eldredgeops and are a good find at Penn Dixie or Sylvania. Its spiny tail distinguishes it at a glance.
