Avaceratops lammersi

Ceratopsian

Avaceratops is a small centrosaurine ceratopsian from the Judith River Formation of Montana, named from a juvenile skeleton found on the Lammers ranch in 1981. Ceratopsid teeth and frill fragments from the Judith River are usually labelled to family, since Avaceratops cannot be recognised from isolated pieces.
