Ankylosaurus magniventris
Armoured dinosaur
Ankylosaurus is the club-tailed armoured dinosaur of the Hell Creek and Lance formations. Isolated osteoderms (armour scutes) and small leaf-like teeth with a swollen base appear in trade; the tail club and skull are rare. Many 'Ankylosaurus' scutes are actually from the nodosaur Denversaurus or indeterminate, so a cautious label is wise.
