Mycenaean
1600–1100 BCE
Mycenaean is the Late Bronze Age civilisation of mainland Greece, with citadels at Mycenae, Tiryns and Pylos, Linear B tablets and shaft graves rich in gold. Stirrup jars, kraters and terracotta psi and phi figurines are typical finds. It collapsed around 1100 BCE.
