Lepidolite
K(Li,Al)3(Al,Si,Rb)4O10(F,OH)2 (series)
Lepidolite is the lilac to pink lithium mica series (polylithionite–trilithionite) of lithium pegmatites, found with elbaite at Minas Gerais, Pala (California), Afghanistan and the Czech Republic. Massive purple lepidolite is sold tumbled and as 'lithium mica' for metaphysical use; fine crystal books with tourmaline are collector pieces. The purple colour and micaceous cleavage identify it.
