Dinosaur National Monument

Dinosaur National Monument on the Utah–Colorado border protects the Carnegie Quarry, where Earl Douglass found the Morrison sauropod bonebed in 1909, now displayed as a wall of bone in the Quarry Exhibit Hall. It is the best place to see Morrison bone as it lies, and a reminder that the same formation on private Wyoming and Colorado ranches is where legal trade material comes from.

Rules
All collecting is prohibited in the monument. The Quarry Exhibit Hall displays the Carnegie Quarry wall with 1,500 bones exposed in place.
