Struthiomimus
Ostrich-mimic dinosaur
Struthiomimus is the toothless ostrich-mimic ornithomimid of the Campanian–Maastrichtian of Alberta and the northern US. Ornithomimid material in trade consists of hollow, thin-walled limb bones, claws and vertebrae; the long slender unguals are the characteristic pieces. Isolated bones are usually labelled 'Ornithomimidae indet.' rather than to genus.
