Macginitiea
Fossil sycamore leaf
Macginitiea is the Eocene sycamore relative whose palmately lobed leaves, up to 20 cm across, are the largest and most striking broadleaves of the Green River Formation. Complete Macginitiea from the Fossil Butte Member are worth several hundred dollars and above. The five-lobed outline is unmistakable.
