Dunkleosteus
Armoured placoderm
Dunkleosteus terrelli is the 6–8 m Late Devonian armoured fish of the Cleveland Shale, with bony jaw blades instead of teeth, and Ohio's state fossil fish. Genuine material is almost entirely in the Cleveland Museum of Natural History; the Cleveland Metroparks sites are protected. Moroccan 'Dunkleosteus' plates are other arthrodires (Titanichthys and others) and should be labelled so.
