Borealosuchus
Crocodilian
Borealosuchus is the common crocodilian of the Hell Creek and Lance formations, a 2–3 m animal whose conical teeth, scutes with pitted surfaces and vertebrae are staple microsite finds. Shed crocodile teeth are cheap; the pitted, keeled osteoderms are the diagnostic pieces. Many were sold as Leidyosuchus before the 1997 revision.
