1500–1800 CE

Post-medieval, or Early Modern, runs from about 1500 to 1800 in Europe and covers the Tudor, Stuart and Georgian periods in Britain. Clay pipes, buttons, buckles, coins, pewter and stoneware are typical finds. Colonial-period sites in the Americas belong to the same horizon.
