Oakes Quarry Park

Oakes Quarry Park in Fairborn, Ohio, is a former Silurian limestone quarry (Brassfield Formation) reclaimed as a city park where visitors pick up chain corals, honeycomb corals, brachiopods and crinoid stems from the quarry floor. It complements Caesar Creek's Ordovician material with Silurian reef fossils and is free.

Rules
The park allows surface collecting of fossils for personal use with hand tools; no digging or removal of large blocks, no commercial collecting.
