Resharpening

Re-flaking a dulled blade in antiquity, which shortens and narrows the point over its use-life; a heavily resharpened example has a blade out of proportion to its haft. It is ancient and honest, unlike rechipping, and a label should say “heavily resharpened” rather than “small for type”.
